Paradox Interactive has halted the development of several unannounced games in an attempt to devote more resources to safer betting for company profits.
The publisher announced the cancellations in a press release Thursday. Paradox says they’re still working on 15 new games including Victoria 3, Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Crusader Kings 3 on consoles, and Shadowrun Trilogy on consoles. Paradox is also working on many new DLCs.
Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester said the company is focusing more on the company’s reputation for strategy games and making games last long after launch.
