Paralympian Olivia Breen expressed her outrage on Sunday after she said an England Championships official told her her sprint briefs were “too short and inappropriate”.
Breen, who hopes to represent Britain in Tokyo at the Paralympic Games next month, made the revelation in a statement on Twitter.

“I am always grateful to the amazing volunteers who run the sporting events. They do an amazing job and allow us to compete,” Breen said.
“However, tonight I am quite disappointed because just as I was finishing my long jump competition at the English Championships, one of the women officials found it necessary to inform me that my sprint briefs were too short. and inappropriate. “
Breen said she was left “speechless” by the remark and said she had been wearing the same type of shorts for years and was “specially designed for competition”.

Breen, who suffers from cerebral palsy, told The Guardian that his shorts are the official Adidas briefs.
England Athletics told the newspaper they were investigating the matter.
