Frasier reboots ‘close’ to being lit by Paramount + with Kelsey Grammer reprising her titular role … and filming could ‘start this summer’

Paramount + is said to be set to relaunch hit NBC sitcom Frasier, which won 37 Emmy Awards in 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004.

Filming could begin as early as the summer if the reboot is lit, according to TV Line, with Kelsey Grammer reprising her role as Dr Frasier Crane.

Paramount + is also hoping to attract supporting cast members David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves and Peri Gilpin to return as Niles Crane, Daphne Moon and Roz Doyle.
