Paris Hilton flattered by song cameo in ‘Promising Young Woman’

As Carey Mulligan’s new black comedy “Promising Young Woman” wins Oscar buzz, she has a new fan – Beverly Hills blonde Paris Hilton.

The film features Hilton’s 2006 song, “Stars Are Blind,” in a scene where Mulligan and co-star Bo Burnham duo at a drugstore.

On Friday, Hilton thanked Mulligan and director Emerald Fennell – who also wrote the film – by posting on Instagram, “I just watched Promising Young Woman. I loved!

She added, “So honored and proud that my song #StarsAreBlind was part of such a powerful and amazing movie. I loved watching Carey Mulligan and Bo Burnham sing it, so cute, sweet and romantic… ”
