Paris Hilton shares photos of herself at 18 after allegations of abuse at residential school

Paris Hilton is still in the process of healing after revealing she suffered abuse while attending private boarding school in Utah.

The reality TV personality, 39, shared photos of herself at 18 on social media after returning from Provo Canyon school where she claimed to have suffered emotional and psychological torture.

“These photos were taken when I was 18 and had just returned home from the horrible experiences I had at #ProvoCanyonSchool. I can see the pain in my eyes. I was so traumatized that I pretended everything was fine, trying to block out the painful memories, ”Hilton wrote.

“Looking at this now, I know that the teenage me would be so incredibly proud of the woman I am today,” she said.

Hilton concluded, “Be brave and use my voice to make a difference and keep children from having to endure the abuse myself and so many others have gone through. #ISeeYouSurvivor #BreakingCodeSilence.”

Hilton detailed her experience at Provo Canyon School in her YouTube Originals documentary “This Is Paris” which premiered in September.

She also told People magazine that the 11 months she attended the PCS was “continuous torture,” alleging that she had been intimidated by staff and witnessed severe restraint. She left school at age 18 in 1999.

Fox News spoke to six alumni and a former boarding school staff member, who shared their own stories and corroborated the star’s claims that the star suffered or witnessed physical and mental abuse, including forced medication, beatings, solitary confinement and intimidation by staff.

Former student Lee Goldman, 33, of Toronto, Canada, attended PCS from 2002 to 2004. She spoke to Fox News on September 4, the 10th anniversary of the day she attempted to kill herself.

At that point in her life, she was embroiled in a lawsuit against PCS, which alleged that a school staff member sodomized the then-teenager in order to inject her with medication against her will. According to court documents obtained by Fox News, the case was dismissed by the state’s fourth judicial district court due to a lack of prosecution.

PCS declined to respond to the allegations prior to the Hilton documentary, telling Fox News in a September statement: “Initially opened in 1971, Provo Canyon School was sold by its former owner in August 2000.
