Amazon’s actions followed initiatives by Apple and Google to ban the Talking mobile app from their respective stores. The Talking app, which is more popular with its user base, remains unavailable.

Questions have been raised about how Parler came back online after being kicked off the internet. The Talking domain is registered with Epik, according to the WHOIS domain name database, but an Epik statement released on Monday said the company has had “no contact or discussion with Parler in any form. either regarding our becoming their registrar or hosting provider. “

Quoting an infrastructure expert, a Reuters report said that the IP address used by Epic belongs to DDos-Guard, which is “controlled by two Russian men and provides services including protection against distributed denial of service attacks. ” According to the report, the company that owns DDos-Guard is called Cognitive Cloud LP.
