Firefighters responded Thursday after part of the roof overhang of a building in northwest Miami-Dade collapsed.
The building is located at 17350 NW 68th Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the three-story building at around 4 p.m.
Chopper 6 footage shows part of the chunky roof overhang on the ground below. The damage only occurred on the exterior of the building.
Teams evacuated residents and assessed the building’s structural integrity. There are no reports of injuries to date.
It is not known why the roof collapsed.
