NORTHWEST OF MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Part of the roof of an apartment building in northwest Miami-Dade has collapsed.
7Skyforce HD flew over the building in the Northwest 75th Street and 68th Avenue area around 4:15 p.m. Thursday.
Miami-Dade firefighters arrived at the scene to assess the damage. No injuries have been reported so far.
Teams also evacuated the building to ensure the safety of residents. A group of firefighters could be seen on the roof of the building removing equipment as they investigated the partial collapse.
Miami-Dade police cordoned off the area near the building and closed roads to the area. Motorists in the area should look for an alternate route.
