Next year's show will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 9 to 11

The E3 2019 attracted 66,100 participants.

This is just over 3,000 fewer visitors than in 2018, but it remains significantly up from the years prior to consumption in 2016 or earlier.

ESA also revealed that the event would return to the Los Angeles Convention Center between June 9 and 11, 2020.

More than 200 exhibitors were present this year, which corresponds to 2018. However, it was once again missing major stands of major publishers, including Activision, EA and PlayStation.

A quarter of exhibitors have never participated in this event, says ESA.

Among the other statistics of the show, there would have been 3.2 million Twitter conversations related to E3, while the E3 Coliseum (live broadcast broadcasting duration of the event) would have attracted 1.2 million viewers. The Coliseum featured artists such as Jack Black, Elon Musk and Todd Howard.

"The E3 is the convergence point of the biggest brands and the biggest fans of the video game industry to shape the future. The energy and enthusiasm of the E3 have made themselves felt in hallways, floors and press conferences, "said ESA President Stanley Pierre-Louis.

"We have broken records, seen incredible innovations and lived breathtaking moments that have entertained the world, and congratulations to our creative and innovative exhibitors, members and partners who have made such a fantastic E3 possible."
