DENVER – The nighttime storm dumped more than 9 inches of snow over many parts of the Denver metro area from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.

The area was upgraded for a winter storm warning Tuesday night, and snow totals Wednesday morning showed more than a foot of snow fell in parts of Denver, Jefferson and Douglas counties.
