HILLSDALE, MI – Pat Sajak, a long-time "Wheel of Fortune" presenter, climbed Hillsdale College and moved to the President's seat.

The small liberal arts college, located about 60 km southeast of Battle Creek, announced that the famous game show host would lead the board of directors. Sajak has been vice-chair of the board for 15 years, according to the school's newspaper, The Collegian.

Hillsdale College President Larry Arnn explained that Sajak had a "bad spirit" and a "calm and steady judgment," according to the Associated Press.

Sajak, who is not a graduate of Hillsdale, said he spent more time on campus last year, talking to students and staff, according to the AP. He told The Collegian that he had been preparing for months to succeed the former chairman of the board, William Brodbeck.

Sajak's new role will not interfere with his television hosting program.
