MEREDITH, N.H. (CBS) – Patriotic Security Patrick Chung has been charged in New Hampshire with possession of cocaine.

The documents released Thursday show that Chung was indicted on August 8 for this incident, reportedly on June 25 in Meredith, police said.

He is scheduled to appear in court on August 28.
The Patriots issued a statement after Chung's indictment was announced.
"We are aware of information about Patrick Chung. We will not comment while his legal proceedings take place, "said the team.
The neighbors living near the $ 1 million lakeside home, said that he "had not seen much this summer," while others said be surprised by the news.
Chung played nine seasons with the Patriots. He had 83 tackles last season.
He won three Super Bowls with the Patriots. This includes the Super Bowl LIII against the Rams, when he came out with a sore arm.
