Football star Patrick Mahomes and fiancee Brittany Lynne Matthews make the perfect couple in their new pregnancy photoshoot.
Over the weekend, the mom-to-be shared a series of Instagram snaps that have a dreamy and glamorous aesthetic. In them, she wears a stunning tulle dress with head-to-toe ruffles while the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback sports a dark gray suit with an open collar.
“My king,” she captioned the first set of photos on a blue background.
In the next set of photos, Matthews is solo in front of a pink background and is all smiles as she shows off her plump belly. “Ready to meet you baby 💕” she wrote.
Fans in the comments were quick to point out that Matthews’ elaborate look had period vibes, reminiscent of one record-breaking Netflix show in particular.

“I’m getting vibrations from Bridgerton,” wrote one Instagram user.
“I was like what in the name of Bridgerton!” another replied.

Other fans praised the couple for their joy in the footage.
“This is the way he looks at you to me, I like it,” one wrote.
“I need someone who looks at me like Patrick looks at you,” added another.
The lovers from high school, who are expecting their first child together, have spent an exciting few months. The couple got engaged in September and less than a month later announced Matthews’ pregnancy. She shared a photo of herself and her fiance kissing while having an ultrasound.
“Mom and dad take a little detour for the wedding,” she wrote in the caption.
In October, the couple revealed they were expecting a girl.
The NFL star opened up about becoming a dad on the Kansas City radio show “The Drive” in December.

“It’s extremely exciting to go through this process during the season,” he said. “I can see her go through the whole pregnancy process and everything. Doing it during the season makes it really cool.
