Mahomes was usual himself, although he was forced to be in concussion protocol throughout the week leading up to the AFC Championship. He finished 29 for 38 with three touchdown passes. Two of his three touchdowns went to tight end Travis Kelce. The other was at Mecole Hardman.
The Chiefs got off to a slow start, however. The Bills racked up nine points in the first quarter and it appeared Josh Allen was going to make it tough for the defending Super Bowl champions. However, Kansas City used a 21-point second quarter to derail the Bills’ momentum.
Two Bills kickoffs in the second quarter led to Chiefs’ touchdowns on the other end.
