Two players who were part of the Ravens’ exceptional rookie class were honored.

Inside linebacker Patrick Queen has been named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie squad, while wide receiver James Near II has been on the team as a punt returner.

Justin Tucker, the most accurate placekicker in NFL history, was on the PFWA All-NFL team for the third consecutive year and the fifth time in his career.

As the Ravens’ first-round pick (28th overall) after helping LSU win a national championship, Queen entered the league with high expectations and fulfilled them. He led the Ravens in tackles with 106, and he also added three sacks, one interception and two fumbles recovered. In Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Queen scored her first NFL touchdown when he recovered a forced fumble from Marlon Humphrey and returned it for 53 yards for the score.
