Patriots sign OL Caleb Benenoch; OL Isaiah Wynn square in the injured reserve

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they had signed the OL Caleb Benenoch (pronounced – ben-in-KNOCK). The terms of the contract have not been announced. To make room for Benenoch, New England placed OL Isaiah Wynn on the wounded list.

Benenoch, 25, is a three-season veteran in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2016-18). The 6-foot-5, 305-pound, entered the NFL as a fifth round pick (148th overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2016 NFL draft on UCLA. He has played in 35 games with 22 starts. Last season, he started his 16 games in the right guard. Benenoch was released by Tampa Bay on September 11, 2019 after playing a reserve role in the Buccaneers Week 1 match against San Francisco.
