One person died and another is in custody Thursday after an argument sparked a fatal shooting outside the iconic Pat’s Steaks restaurant in Philadelphia, police said.

Investigators told FOX 29 they were called to the popular cheesesteak around 1 a.m. this morning following reports of gunfire.

Witnesses who spoke to police said a fight broke out between two men standing in line. Then one of the individuals pulled out a gun and shot the other, FOX 29 reported, citing police.

DRAWS IN PHILADELPHIA KILL 1 DEATH AND 12 INJURY IN ONE NIGHT

The 23-year-old victim was punched once in the torso as up to seven customers also lined up, police told WPVI.

This man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Investigators were able to locate and arrest the suspect near Independence Hall in the city center after witnesses shared the license plate number of the van he fled in, according to FOX 29.

Since this morning, the driver of this vehicle has not been found.

No charges have yet been filed against the suspect.
