Paul Feig is building a dark army for the universal

It's a monster movie, but what kind of monster movie?

As you know, the Universe Dark Universe franchise is really dead, but that does not mean that the studio is not yet working on images that, one way or another , are related to its classic range of Universal Monsters. Leigh Whannell is working on a new Invisible Man. Brendan Fraser openly calls for a return to the 90s Mummy franchise.

And to this day, we know that Paul Feig is working on something called Black Army for the studio. We do not know exactly what it's all about, but (according to Deadline), the movie will include appearances of some of the classic universal monsters. That could mean just about anything, but given the little gossip and the title of the movie, we're going to assume that it could be acting from a Monster SquadType-deal. Note that this is reckless speculation, but that's it.

Feig will write and direct the film, but beyond that, there is nothing else. No proposed cast member, no start date (let alone release date), nothing. We are curious to know where this is going, however, and we will keep you informed of the new updates. Stay tuned for these and feel free to make your own reckless speculation in the comments below in the meantime.
