In some parts of the world, you may be able to catch a pair starting May 14, while they release in North America on May 27. Store in NBA 2K21, where players can unlock them starting tomorrow.

According to Nike and Sony, designers from both companies worked closely together to make the shoes, even before the console was announced. As such, they have relied on the “artistic vision and creative ethics” of SIE art director Yujin Morisawa for the PS5 to inspire the shoes, which feature PlayStation shapes along the upper, and references to the shank. PS5 design on the upper and outsoles.

These shoes are unlikely to ever achieve iconic status in the 2006/2009 Nike Air Force 1 Patent Leather Collaboration, and they lack the bright flair of the old Paul George / PlayStation shoes. Still, at $ 120, they’re a lot cheaper at launch and will likely be cheaper on StockX than an actual PlayStation 5 console, which currently sells for around $ 710.
