This is the last game before the NHL trade deadline. In addition, the best hope of the Red Wings organization is making its first appearance in the NHL. Despite this, San Jose spoiled an enthusiastic first period in Sunday's race.

So where did everything go wrong? That happened in the second period when the Red Wings conceded three goals in less than THREE MINUTES. Zadina saw just over 10 and a half minutes of ice time. Unless someone is being dealt with Monday, I would expect it to remain pretty much the same for his nine-game stay in Detroit.
