PORTLAND, Oregon. – The Portland Transportation Office ensures everyone gets home on the St. Patrick's Weekend by offering discounts to local taxi companies and taxi call services.
PBOT indicates that local taxi companies will offer discounts on journeys of up to $ 20 and that Lyft and Uber will take $ 5 on trips through the city. The discounts are valid from 20h. Saturday until 4 o'clock on Sunday.
PBOT Safe Ride Home is a partnership aimed at preventing impaired driving. PBOT works with taxis, transport network companies and bar owners to offer discounted journeys at home on certain public holidays.
