Pelosi called Barr's decision to write this "arrogant" letter. Congress, she said, does not need Barr "to be our interpreter of something that he should just show us".
The Democratic Presidents of six House committees have asked Barr to release the Mueller Report to Congress on Tuesday.
Pelosi also defended the chairman of the House's intelligence committee, Adam Schiff, who faced Thursday calls from Republicans to resign from his presidency following comments that there was significant evidence of the conspiracy President and his collaborators with Russia.
