Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Attempted to prevent the alleged influence of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Progressive Democrats, asserting that their wing in Congress was "like five people".
Speaking with Lesley Stahl of CBS News on "60 minutes," Ms. Pelosi said that the 29-year-old congressman from New York had not had a significant impact on the Democratic Party. The Chamber also stated that it rejected socialism "as an economic system".

President Trump responded to the interview by tweeting it was a "puff", and said Pelosi "has not passed any significant legislation."
