Penn State professor faces kidnapping charges

A Penn State professor who also drives for Uber faces kidnapping charges.

Two women told the police that Richard Lomotey had recovered them early Saturday morning in the carpool.

They said that he had commented on their appearance, then stopped and tried to lock them in the car.

The women were able to escape and call the police.

Lomotey has taught on Beaver Campus in Penn State, in western Pennsylvania.

The school revoked his access.
