New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio ignored the poor reception of his presidential campaign for 2020 on Sunday morning, saying people "must have loved me being made mayor of New York twice."
De Blasio appeared Sunday in CNN's "The State of the Union", during which Dana Bash questioned the mayor on polls showing that even most New Yorkers do not want that. he presents himself to the presidency.
"If I had thought the elections and listened to them in all my other elections, I might have stayed at home," de Blasio said. "But that's not where you start, that's where you end. Most of the time, polls do not tell you the truth. "
