“Peril!” posted a Thanksgiving message on Thursday from the host of the late-game television show that was taped before his death just a few weeks ago.

In the 20-second clip, the beloved television icon reminds Americans to keep their faith during what is an unprecedented time given the coronavirus pandemic.

Trebek said, “Happy Thanksgiving ladies and gentlemen. You know, despite what America is going through and the rest of the world is going through right now, there are many reasons to be thankful. There are more and more people who reach out to do a kindness to their neighbors, and that’s a good thing. “

Trebek died on November 8 after a battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Hollywood stars and fans continue to pay tribute to him.

“Peril!” Production will resume on November 30, and viewers will see the late host’s duties temporarily filled by acting guests with one of his all-time greats, Ken Jennings, stepping onto the podium.
