Persona 5 arrives on Nintendo this year – Game Rant

A few months ago, Atlus announced an improved version of Persona 5 called Persona 5 R, with more information promised to come later this month. We have not learned more about Persona 5 R Since its first announcement, a rumor seems to indicate that the game is not only for the PS4, but also for the Nintendo Switch.

The Twitter user, Mr. Ohya, known for his leaks Character news, claims that Persona 5 R will be released on Switch and PS4 this fall, but it will be named Persona 5 S. Unfortunately for fans who hope to learn what kind of improvements Persona 5 S will bring to the table, Mr. Ohya has not revealed any additional information on what the game will have in reserve.

While Persona 5 fans should take this information with a grain of salt, it should be noted that this is not the first time we have caught the wind of a Persona 5 port for the switch. A change of domain name by Atlus a few months ago, before the announcement of Persona 5 R, suggested that a Switch port would be well underway, plus the fact that Joker is in the process of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo generally applies to characters who have participated in games on Nintendo consoles (with rare exceptions), so it makes sense that the addition of Joker to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be used to promote a Persona 5 Switching port.

Beyond that, it must be considered that the Nintendo Switch should be more than able to function Persona 5. After all, a version of Persona 5 exists for the PlayStation 3, and the Nintendo switch is able to run the ports of various PS4 games and Xbox One. So there should be no problem with Persona 5, which is not even all this game intensely graphically.

While one Persona 5 Wearing the Nintendo Switch seems inevitable at this point, fans should still keep their expectations under control until Atlus publishes an official announcement. Fortunately, with more news on Persona 5 R (or Sif that's really what we call in the West, as Mr. Ohya suggests), fans should not have to wait much longer to get more information.
