Exactly 45 years after the unsolved murder of an 11-year-old girl, Southern California police released new sketches of her alleged killer in the hope of finally resolving the case of several decades.
Linda Ann O 'Keefe, who loved piano, painting, and crafts, was last seen on July 6, 1973 while she was returning home from her classes. 39, summer, announced the Newport Beach Police Department. His body was found the next day in the Back Bay area, but no arrests have ever been made.

On Saturday, exactly 45 years after the discovery of her body, the ministry released these sketches of his alleged killer.
The police associated with the DNA technology company Parabon NanoLabs and used genetic evidence to predict the suspect's traits, including eye color, hair color and color skin. The sketches illustrate what the suspect looked like at age 25 as well as an aged version showing what he might look like today.

The Police Department also tweeted Linda's story from her point of view, telling the last hours of his life.
"Hi, I'm Linda O 'Keefe (or Linda ANN O' Keefe, if I have problems with my mother.) Forty-five years ago today, I've disappeared from Newport Beach.I've been murdered and my body was found in the Back Bay.My killer has never been found.At today, I will tell you my history. In his tweets, the police department visited again the last day of Linda's summer classes at the Lincoln Intermediate School.
"Eventually, the school is over." Like everyone in the classroom, I'm excited to know how to spend the rest of my afternoon, or what I want to do this weekend. Obviously, I do not know yet, but … I'm not going to have a weekend. " #LindasStory
While waiting for a chance to use the phone from the school office, Linda went to the outside. One of his friends later told the police that a turquoise van stopped by Linda several times while she was walking.
Linda then called her mother to the school's office, and her mother told her that she was busy sewing and that she should go home, the police said.

A woman later told the police that she saw Linda standing next to a turquoise van and talk to the driver – a white man in the mid-twenties or early thirties.
"The van is parked along the sidewalk, just before the intersection of Marguerite and Inlet Drive. The front passenger door is open and I'm standing next door. When Linda never came home, his mother contacted his friends, hoping to hear from his daughter, the police said.
Linda's family called the police at 6:42 pm and the agents then joined the girl's search of 4 feet tall with long brown hair and blue eyes.

That night, a woman who lives in the Bluffs above Back Bay heard a female voice screaming, " Stop, you hurt me, "said the police.
The next day, a man visiting the same area with his son found Linda's strangled body, police said.
"Years have passed since this heinous murder, but the [Newport Beach Police Department] remains dedicated to justice for Linda, and is committed to finding her," police said in a press release.
