Woman arrested beating a 92-year-old man on a sidewalk

LOS ANGELES – A woman was arrested in the investigation into the beating of a 92-year-old man in southern California. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said inspectors had arrested Laquisha Jones, 30, in Los Angeles, and put her in jail for an investigation into a deadly weapon assault.

Rodriguez's grandson, Eric Mendoza, told CBS Los Angeles that his grandfather was on the sidewalk when he accidentally hit a little girl trying to get around her. A witness who was driving in the area, identified by CBS Los Angeles only as "Catherine", told the station that the woman was shouting "bad things" to Rodriguez while She beat him with her.

The witness said that she took out her phone and got a picture of the woman, who seems to be holding a piece of the hand. concrete as his child stands nearby. Rodriguez is not seen in the photo.

The witness stated that a group of about four men joined the attack and that the attackers fled while the forces of order were called .
