Two burning fires near Clear Lake, called the Mendocino Complex, led to mandatory evacuations
The flames are approaching Clear Lake and many cities are evacuations required. Lakeport's main street is a virtual ghost town. But there are some who stay. Among them is Kim Crites
She says that at this point there is no reason to leave
"If it stays on the other side of 29, I'm not worried, "she said. "But if he had to jump, I think I would be more worried about it."
Ash falls everywhere in the city. Those who are gone do what they can to make sure their homes stay upright
