A 2-year-old boy died Saturday after he was accidentally shot in the head at his home in Fresno, California, reports The Fresno Bee.
Authorities said the boy was breathing when he was transported to a children's hospital. but the medical team could not save him. The shooting took place at 12:48. and died around 6 pm
The fiance of the boy's father and a friend were with the boy at the time of the shooting, but the authorities said that the incident "seems to be a tragic accident."
ABC13.com reported that the Todddler was shot in one of the rooms of the house. It was unclear who owned the gun, the father or any of the guests at home, according to reports.
"If you have firearms at home, you must lock them up and carry children," the authorities told the station.
