A forest fire near Oregon, California, closes the I-5 South Highway

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) – A fire that crossed Interstate 5 south of the Oregon border in California has closed the southbound lanes in this area. The Oregon Department of Transportation said Thursday night that southbound lanes would remain closed in Ashland, Oregon, with no estimated reopening time.
