Oakland authorities responded Sunday night to two stabbing attacks – including a deadly one – at a BART station in Oakland, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene. The stab wounds would have been random.

The report stated that the stab wounds occurred at 9.45 pm at the BART station at MacArthur Station in Oakland. The deceased woman was 18 years old and the other was in critical condition, reported The East Bay Times.

KTVU identified the victims as sisters.

The station was closed due to the police investigation.

The suspect was reportedly described as a white man, about 5 9 9, with blond hair bristling on the side.
