Peru denounces to the UN a violation of human rights in Venezuela – Diario Expreso

Calls on the government of Nicolás Maduro to accept, without delay, the entrance of humanitarian aid.

Foreign Minister Néstor Popolizio announced that Peru has denounced to the United Nations (UN) the systematic violation of human rights in Venezuela

Peruvian demand was supported by 53 member states. the UN, including the countries that make up the Lima Group and the European Union.

The crisis has caused the mass exodus of Venezuelan citizens who have emigrated to different countries in the region, "the Foreign Ministry said.

It stresses that the report of the United Nations High Commissioner confirms that there are serious violations of human rights in Venezuela human beings because of the serious crisis triggered after the collapse of the democratic order in this country.
