Peruvian remittances in the third quarter broke the 28-year record | Economy

Remittances sent by Peruvians abroad amounted to US $ 823 million in the third quarter of this year, Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR).

According to the issuing entity, the amount was up 5% compared to remittances in the same period of 2017.

Similarly, this amount represents an increase of 1.9% over the previous quarter, indicates the BCR.

For the last, the money sent by Peruvian emigrants in the third quarter, it represented the highest value since it was registered in 1990.
