A 25-year-old student from the Missouri-Kansas City University was shot dead Friday night at a restaurant where he was working, police said.
Kansas City police said the victim was Sharath Koppu, injured around 7 am. pm Friday at J Fish and Chicken Market at 5412 Prosepct Avenue. His parents in India are aware of the murder.
