Thunderstorms swept the state yesterday, causing heavy rains and sudden floods in some areas.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Suffolk and parts of the counties of Norfolk and Middlesex until 19:15.
The Worcester Fire Department tweeted that it was responding to over 100 storm-related calls and advised residents to avoid flooded streets, bubbling sewers and displaced
