Pete Davidson recalled the moment he found out he had BPD

“I was still so confused all the time.”

For Pete Davidson, being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder has been a relief. In fact, he told Glenn Close for Variety’s Actors on actors series whose moment looked like a huge weight was’ lifted [his] shoulders.”

“I was diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was still so confused all the time, and I just thought something was wrong and I didn’t know how to deal with it,” a Davidson said.

“Then when someone finally tells you, the weight of the world feels lifted off your shoulders. You feel so much better,” he continued.

In 2017, Davidson revealed he had borderline disorder after spending years battling depression and anxiety.

Although he has already revealed that he is considering suicide, Davidson said it was not an option because there are so many people who love him and want him to live.

In 2017, when he was diagnosed with BPD, Davidson spoke about how therapy helped, in a conversation with Marc Maron. “It’s working, slowly but surely,” he said, adding, “I had a lot of problems. This whole year has been a fucking nightmare. It’s been the worst year of my life, being diagnosed and trying to figure out how to learn from it and live with it.
