Peter Thiel, billionaire investor in Silicon Valley, said a Democratic presidential candidate made him very worried before the 2020 elections.

Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Is the only Democratic candidate to campaign for the economy, while others are bogged down in identity politics talks, Thiel said Monday at "Tucker Carlson Tonight ".

"Elizabeth Warren scares me the most," he says.

"I think she's the one who really talks about the economy, and that's the only thing that matters by far the most."

Thiel, who delivered the speech as the first openly homosexual speaker at the 2016 Republican National Convention, also said that he had found the other two contenders in the Democratic primary without interest.

"I think almost all the others are equally unimpressive in the sense that they are all identity politics of one flavor or another," he said.

"I would not like to classify their degree of impresiveness, because that would force me to prioritize the different identities and to determine which of the two would be the most privileged and the most special, and that would be a dangerous thing."

Earlier in the interview, Thiel had explained how he had called on Sunday the FBI and the CIA to determine whether Chinese intelligence services had infiltrated Google.

Thiel made these comments during a speech at the National Conference on Conservatism in Washington. He added that the FBI and the CIA should ask Google three questions to determine whether the technology giant had been compromised by Chinese intelligence.

Addressing Carlson, Thiel said that artificial intelligence is something "people are talking about non-stop in Silicon Valley".

"But they almost never talk about its dual use," he said.

"If it's real, if it's a real thing, it can obviously also be used by the military, it will be turned into weapons in all sorts of ways, and it's an important national security issue to know who has it.
