For years ESPN’s wish has been to have Peyton Manning on the Monday Night Football booth. Manning has rejected those offers, but he will play a role in Monday Night Football in the future.

ESPN today announced that Manning and his company Omaha Productions will partner with ESPN for alternative shows starring Peyton and Eli Manning.

The Peyton and Eli MegaCast will air on ESPN2 while the regular airing will air on ESPN (and sometimes ABC). Peyton and Eli will work remotely, bring in their own guests, and have more of a conversation than a standard broadcast with live, color commentary from a booth in the stadium.

“This partnership with ESPN and The Walt Disney Company reflects an ongoing and shared commitment to providing fans with fun and innovative content,” Peyton Manning said in a statement. “ESPN + has been a great partner for Omaha Productions as we built the The Places franchise and we’re excited to co-create a new MegaCast format that will have something for everyone. “

Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick stay in the ESPN booth.
