People who get the coronavirus vaccine don’t know what’s coming next – that second hit could hit like a ton of bricks, according to a guy who volunteered for the Pfizer study.
Eric Gross Joined us on “TMZ Live” on Thursday, and shared his experience obtaining the two doses of the vaccine during Pfizer’s clinical trials. He said the first injection hurt his arm a bit – which we’ve heard from other people this week – but he says the second shot is a whole different ball game.
In Eric’s experience, this left him feeling sicker than he has ever felt in his life, but not for too long. He has an analogy for his body’s reaction – think of a punch in the face. Watch the video, it’s a great explanation.
As you know … America’s healthcare workers have started get the first round vaccinations on Monday and people like Sandra Lindsay, the intensive care nurse who received the first vaccine in New York City, told us so far, so good … regarding reactions or side effects.
Eric also told us about the story of TMZ erupting – that the volunteers who were given the placebo during the trial Pfizer under pressure to let them have the real deal.
He says Pfizer made a big change to their original rules because, like he says, it just wasn’t fair to the placebo folks.
