PG & E delayed safety work on a suspected power line in California, Wildfire



For five years, PG & E Corp. has repeatedly delayed improving the security of a hundred-year old high-voltage transmission line that is one of the biggest suspects behind the deadliest fire in California's history.

The company told federal regulators in 2013 that it was considering replacing many of the towers, wires and hardware parts of the line, called Caribou-Palermo regulatory filings.
