This is a bug that Tyler Duncan would like to forget.
The American golfer inadvertently bounced a ball on the head of his wife, Maria, at the AT & T Byron Nelson on Friday.
Maria, standing on the green a few meters from the rest of the crowd, remained unscathed. Duncan managed to catch up with the 13th par-4 hole behind him and finished the tournament tied for 5th place at 17 under par.
"I had some mud on the ball, a little unfortunate timing and I left right," Duncan told the PGA Tour website. "I had a big rebound and I hit it, I guess. I did not know until the end of the round. … I'm just happy that she is not hurt. "
Duncan, 29, had some advice for his fellow golfers.
"Do not try this at home!", He tweeted.
