Supermarkets are rushing to secure freezers, thermometers and other medical equipment to administer the injections. They also train staff and set up online services for making appointments. With vaccine approval in a few weeks, it’s unclear how federal and state authorities will distribute vaccines to the public, and grocers say they don’t know how many customers will request the vaccination when it becomes available.
