Colorado Avalanche's first goaltender Philipp Grubauer The success of his team during the last part of the regular season was for many. So far, during the playoffs, he has made big saves and scored big goals.
In the second game of the series against the San Jose Sharks, Avalanche, Grubauer earned a second assist for Nethan MacKinnon's goal.

Towards the end of the third period, Grubauer cleared Matt Calvert's puck. Calvert was criticized by Brent Burns of the Sharks as he passed the puck to Nathan MacKinnon.
MacKinnon threw him at the bottom of the Sharks' empty nets, giving the team a 4-2 lead in the Av with a minute.
The Sharks did their best to return with Brent Burns scoring to make it 4-3.
Grubi also made big stops, including this beauty on a Logan Couture shot.
In the end, thanks in large part to Grubauer's 29 saves and a decisive pass, the Avalanche won.

The Sharks and Avalanche are now tied in their series with one game each. They will play the third match in Denver on Tuesday night.
