MANILA – A 40-year-old man died after he was swept by rushing floodwater due to typhoon ‘Rosita,’ in Roxas town in Isabela.

At least 5 villages in the town were swamped by flashfloods after Rosita made landfall in Isabela. Floods have subsided Wednesday but it left thick mud on roads and houses.

The typhoon brought strong winds and heavy rains that brought down trees and lampposts, tore down roofs from small houses, and even damaged a major bridge.
