A discovery of iOS 12 made by a well-known developer suggests that Face ID could arrive on the iPad.
The next version of the operating system of Apple, iOS 12, expected in September, is already in the hands of developers and beta testers, one of them found an indication that the brand's facial recognition technology was appearing on iPads.
The developer Steve Troughton-Smith found a hidden version of AvatarKit supported a larger screen, supposedly a tablet, and tweeted his discovery on July 3.

This may not be a complete surprise, as rumors of an improved iPad, or even iPad Pro, have circulated, as well as expectations of a launch this autumn.
