In the New Episode of America's Got Talent you will have the opportunity to meet a young singer named Angel Garcia who has the ability to be one of the best Spanish-speaking artists we've ever seen on the show. After all, he's only twelve years old and yet he's playing as someone who has been doing it for several decades.
The performance that he makes in the video below is at the classic song "El Triste," which came out almost fifty years ago. This is not an easy song to interpret, since you need both a huge musical palette and also the ability to connect to lyrics and messages. Fortunately, it's as if Angel is getting rid of it. He understands the weight of what he sings and does not seem to shrink at all.
Garcia has the potential to make it reasonably far this season, and although there is a wide range of different singers, we think that it helps tremendously that he is a very vocal singer. different from everyone we receive in this competition. He sings a different kind of music and, in turn, will probably appeal to a rather different audience.
As to whether or not he could get the gold buzzer, know this: He probably is not going to get it. There is not a single act that NBC has fled to here this year which, in turn, has put on the show. They like that there is some kind of surprise when it comes to their Golden Buzzer performance, and not just to be immediately obvious from the moment you see someone for the first time on the show.
