Honda will be the first motorcycle manufacturer to offer a hybrid series scooter. Last week, he announced plans to offer the PCX Hybrid; based on the PCX scooter but now with electric assist. At the Tokyo Motor Show last year, Honda drew visitors with a PCX Hybrid concept. This concept is becoming a reality and will be sold exclusively in Japan this year.

The PCX Hybrid is powered by an eSP 125cc four-stroke engine and fuel injection. It is associated with a power drive unit consisting of a driver assistance system added to the ACG starter, powered by a high efficiency lithium-ion battery.

Based on Honda's initial information, it does not seem to be able to operate. Instead, two engine support modes allow the driver to choose the level of engine assistance.
