The Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company plans to unveil the second generation of Brio. Hatchback at the International Auto Show Gaikindo Indonesia (GIIAS) 2018 next month. The show was scheduled for August 2 in Jakarta and the new Honda Brio is expected to feature a bold design in keeping with the Small RS concept.
For the uninitiated, Honda had unveiled the stylish Small RS Concept at the 2018 Indonesia International Auto Show in April. Honda first previewed the first-generation Brio concept as the "Honda Small Concept" in 2010. Small RS Concept is therefore widely regarded as the precursor of the next generation of Brio.
If Honda retains the stylistic elements of the concept Small RS in the production version, the second generation Brio will be a Sports sedan.The concept was revealed in the Pearl Phoenix Orange Pearl paint and was equipped with a scoop hood, sporty bumper with black inserts and new Mobilio style grille finished in black color.
On the Sides, Wing Mounting Slots, Side Skirts and Larger alloy wheels are the attractions and everything comes bathed in black color. A large roof spoiler, fake diffuser, and Ford Figo-style taillights are the additions At the back, however, we believe that Honda will mitigate the the Small RS concept while turning it to the new Brio. The changes will ensure that the new Brio will have a distinct position from the current generation Brio for sale.
It should be noted that the all-glass trunk lid in the current Brio will make way for a conventional hatchback if Honda goes ahead with the Small RS concept design cues. This will remove an eccentric piece of the Brio brand while it will give a mature position.
First Generation Honda Brio
Although there is no picture of the interior available to the Honda should equip the new Brio of a touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A flat-bottomed steering wheel, sports seats and pedals are expected when it comes to the Brio RS version.
The first-generation Honda Brio is powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine with 86.7 hp at 6,000 rpm and 109 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The engine should also be used in the new version
